Jack is our dog—our family. He is loving, gentle, and deeply bonded to us. He has never shown aggression or had any prior behavioral issues. Until one unfortunate day, Jack had never been in trouble of any kind.

On that day, Jack accidentally got out of our fenced yard. During that brief time, he had a bite incident. We take this seriously and are deeply grateful that the injury was not severe. Our homeowners insurance fully covered the medical expenses related to the bite, and the individual is okay.

Despite this being Jack’s first and only offense, with no prior history of aggression, a court order was issued requiring Jack to be euthanized.
