Hi, my name is Scarlett and this is my cat, Ivy.
Ivy just turned one year old and she is truly my best friend. Last night she was hit by a car right in front of me, and it was one of the most terrifying moments of my life. She has been in the ICU at the vet since then, fighting to recover.
The vets have told us that the cost of her treatment could cost $20,000, which includes emergency care, surgery, and ongoing treatment to give her the best chance of surviving and recovering.
I only turned 18 a few days ago and I honestly have no idea how I or my family are going to manage these costs. I’ve been trying to find a job for the past few months and have only been able to pick up small jobs here and there, which unfortunately isn’t anywhere near enough to cover something like this.
Ivy means the world to me. She’s more than just a pet — she’s family. She’s brought so much joy and happiness to my life, and I can’t imagine losing her.
If anyone is able to donate, even a small amount, it would mean more than I could ever explain. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page would help us so much.
Thank you for taking the time to read Ivy’s story and for any support you can give.
