Build an animal shelter in Mexico

Isla Animals Rescue is HOMELESS. We have been forced out of our shelter space on Isla Mujeres, Mexico. We plan to build our own shelter but to do this we need funds. Our plans for the new shelter will be able to house dogs and cats, have space for isolation cases, and for visiting vets to do surgeries and consults for our animals.
Isla Animals does not have the money to make this happen, but you can help by donating to our building fund. It is our dream to have our own space that no one can take away from us.
We broke records this year, adopting out dogs, sterilizing, and rescuing from the streets! 3 puppies were found in the trash this week alone- and now the government is kicking us out with no plan B for our dogs! We are scrambling now to find placements for our dogs, we are STOPPING ALL INTAKE INDEFINITELY. Our hearts are BREAKING, we are going to have to CANCEL our weekly free spay/neuter clinic. The Island NEEDS animal services! We cannot operate with no shelter. SOS PLEASE HELP!!!!
Since 2001 Isla Animals Rescue, located on Isla Mujeres, Mexico, has been fighting to rescue and sterilize the street dogs of the island. We’ve worked tirelessly for decades to offer free services to the community and to offer government-like services (there are no government programs for animals or humane society here). We operate solely on donations. By forcing us out of our location, they’re stopping us from the work that we do for free. We cannot afford a new location, not to mention there are no animal shelter-like locations on the island even available! By taking away our shelter the 100 dogs we’ve sent out in the last 100 days would never have been possible! We are in a CRISIS.
