My name is Olya, we are reaching out today to ask for support for our family member in Ukraine, who has spent his entire life supporting others.

Igor, a loving father of two young children (ages 12 and 8) and a lifelong Physical Education teacher from Energodar, Ukraine, is in a critical fight for his life. Many know Energodar as the home of the largest nuclear power plant in Europe—but for Igor, it has always simply been *home*, the place where he raised his family and dedicated himself to helping generations of children grow strong, healthy, and confident.

For years, Igor poured his heart into teaching kids the importance of movement, health, and joy. He organized countless activities, sports events, and community programs—always with the goal of giving children a positive, active start in life. His passion for helping others has shaped an entire community.

How His Battle Began

During the war in Ukraine, Igor needed an emergency tooth extraction. With medical resources severely limited, the procedure was performed in unsafe conditions. What should have been a simple treatment led to a severe infection—and ultimately, the development of cancer in the left side of his jaw.

Since 2022, Igor has undergone multiple rounds of cancer treatment. He and his family have exhausted every medical option and financial resource available to them in Ukraine. Despite everything, Igor continues to fight with courage and hope—driven by his love for his children and his desire to watch them grow up.

His Last Hope: Immunotherapy

Igor’s next and most promising chance at survival is immunotherapy, a treatment that could stop the cancer from progressing and give him the chance to rebuild his life.

The cost of this treatment is $17,500—an amount equal to two years of Igor’s salary.

For a family already devastated emotionally and financially, this sum is impossible to reach alone.
