Help Save Igor's Eye Sight

Igor Stukonog is my friend from childhood. He is 55 years old, married with three daughters. He and his wife are musical educators and have dedicated their professional lives to teaching kids folk music in a small rural village. I grew up with Igor and went with him to a local music school. Igor was on top of all of our music classes. He has very special musical talent and uses it to give back this gift to many kids... Unfortunately the society does not pay very well for this effort and he has constantly to work on his small backyard farm to support his family with growing food. Needless to say - good health services are impossible to receive for a simple guy in a small village in such situation. So his other childhood friend in Germany helped him to find appropriate eye surgery doctor who will be performing this advanced surgery, and hopefully it will restore eye sight and give Hope for this family..
In the summer of 2018, Igor realized he could not see anymore when it would get dark, while everyone else around him could still see very well. Soon Igor was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration - a condition that causes loss in the center of the eye's field of vision. This is an incurable condition. If left untreated, Igor will lose vision within a year. He will lose the ability to move around and will not be able to work.

AMD - Advanced Macular Degeneration
Fortunately, there is a promising medical procedure developed by surgeons in Europe and in the US that can help restore reasonably good vision via telescopic implant inside the eye crystal. It is expensive and Igor needs help to afford this procedure. With this surgery, Igor will be able to work, be mobile, and read and teach music to children for many years to come. Please help Igor and his family in their quest to restore Igor's vision.
