I run a 501 (c)(3) rescue and I am a shelter volunteer at Harris County Pets in Houston, Texas, and my mission is to save as many at risk dogs as feasible from the euthanasia list. Every day, I see loving, adoptable dogs at risk simply because there isn’t enough space or resources to help them all. With such high intake numbers (30, 40, 50+ dogs a day) and not enough adopters locally, the shelter has no choice but to euthanize. It breaks my heart, and I want to give as many dogs as possible a second chance, but I can’t do it alone. That’s why I’m reaching out to dog lovers across the nation who follow my dog rescue journey on social media and want to make a difference.

The funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly towards saving dogs at risk of euthanasia and will be used to cover essential medical costs for the dogs I help rescue, including spays/neuters, vaccinations, and heartworm treatment if necessary. Your support will also help provide food, treats, toys and shelter with a wonderful home boarder that allows me to visit the dogs I rescue at any time. This gives them a loving environment while they wait for their forever families.
