For over 30 years, Hopvine Pub has been an integral part of the community on 15th — a place where friendships are formed, where birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated, and where people come together simply to be around one another.

What has always made Hopvine special is the balance it holds: a sense of comfortable familiarity in a hectic world alongside the creative energy of art and music. It’s a place that feels the same in all the right ways — welcoming, unpretentious, and rooted in community.

The Hopvine has supported the arts throughout its life with the longest running Open Mics in the city, introducing new musicians to the community stage. Along with the music the Hopvine has been the scene of numerous art openings and a place for new visual artists to showcase their talents. Importantly, many of the Hopvine events have supported various causes and generated funds for numerous community organizations.

As a neighborhood pub the Hopvine has always celebrated the art and craft of beer, and we have worked closely with our local brewer friends. Some of the best moments at the Pub have been related to the release of a new and exciting beer.

Through all of this, one thing has remained true: while we may be the caretakers, Hopvine is your neighborhood pub. You have helped to make it so special.

We want to keep it that way.

But we need your help.

Like many businesses, we are facing rising costs across the board — rent, insurance, payroll, and more. We’ve made changes that cut expenses, and worked to increase revenue, and though we have met many of our goals it has taken time and there is a gap between where we are and where we need to be.

We hope to raise $50,000 to help bridge that gap. The funds would be used to pay back rent and catch up on past obligations to ensure the Hopvine can move forward.

While this is a challenging moment, we believe in the future of Hopvine. Our staff — the people who create the experience every day — remain committed, and they are at the heart of what makes this place so special.
