My name is Tevra, and I’m reaching out for help to save a little life that deserves a second chance.

A few days ago, I came across a post about a domestic rabbit that had been abandoned in a hotel parking lot in Edmonton. A staff member had noticed her and knew she wouldn’t survive on her own.

I couldn’t ignore it.

I went to the location, searched for hours, and eventually managed to catch her. At the time, she was running and alert, and I truly thought I had just rescued a scared but otherwise okay bunny.

Once I got her home and settled, I realized something was very wrong.

Her leg was severely injured.

I took her to the vet immediately, where we learned she has an exposed fracture — a devastating injury that often leads to infection or euthanasia if not treated quickly.

What’s unbelievable is that despite everything, Holly is still:

Eating

Drinking

Using the bathroom

Calm, gentle, and incredibly trusting

The vet said it’s honestly a miracle she has made it this far without infection.

I was told that in many cases like this, the outcome is euthanasia. But I wasn’t ready to accept that without trying.

I paid for her initial exam, medications, and stabilization to buy her some time.

The reality is this:Holly needs a leg amputation to survive, with an estimated cost of around $4,000.

Without this surgery, the only option would be to let her go peacefully.

But Holly is fighting. She is still choosing to eat, to rest, to trust… and I believe she deserves a real chance at life.

If Holly is unable to undergo surgery or her condition worsens, funds will go toward her medical care and comfort.

If there are remaining funds, they will be donated to a rabbit rescue unless a donor specifically requests a refund.
