My dog Hershey has always been a special part of my family. My mom gifted him to me when I was five months pregnant with my first son, and since then, he’s grown up right alongside my child. They’re both the same age, and Hershey truly feels like another one of my kids—he means everything to us.

Recently, Hershey had a terrible accident and ended up with a nail stuck in his head. The only way to save his life is through urgent surgery to remove it. The thought of losing him is unbearable, and I’m doing everything I can to make sure he gets the care he needs. Unfortunately, the hospital expenses for his surgery and recovery are more than I can manage on my own. As any pet parent knows, caring for a dog can be just as demanding and costly as caring for a child.

I’m reaching out for a little assistance to help cover Hershey’s hospital bills and give him the chance to recover and stay with our family.
