Help Save Henry – Our Brave Little Fighter ❤️
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for help for a very special cat, Henry – my sister-in-law’s beloved companion and truly her best friend.
Henry hasn’t had an easy life. He was rescued from a difficult start and finally found the safe, loving home he deserved. Despite everything, he’s always been the gentlest, softest soul – a quiet little fighter who just keeps going.
Over the years, Henry has already been through so much. He survived a brutal cat attack where he lost his eye, and not long after, he endured 6 weeks crated while recovering from a broken foot. Through it all, he never lost his loving nature.
Recently, Henry moved with his family to a quiet rural road in Purton, where they hoped he could finally enjoy a peaceful life exploring the outdoors.
But heartbreak struck again.
Henry was hit by a car. The driver didn’t stop. They didn’t report it. They just left him there.
He didn’t come home that night. My sister-in-law went out searching in the dark, desperately calling for him. She could hear his cries but couldn’t find him. Hours later, in an act that shows just how strong and determined he is, Henry dragged himself home to the driveway… where she finally found him.
He is now fighting for his life.
Henry has: A fractured pelvis on one side and a break on the other. A broken tail. Severe internal bruising
He is currently in intensive care, on morphine, and in a great deal of pain. It’s heartbreaking to see him like this, but we’re holding onto hope and doing everything we can to ease his suffering and give him a chance to recover.
We still don’t know if he’s going to make it, but we are doing everything possible to give him a chance.
The cost is overwhelming: • Emergency hospitalisation (first 24-48 hours): £1,100+
• Estimated surgery and treatment: £6,000–£8,000
We are asking, from the bottom of our hearts, for any help you can give – no matter how small. Every single donation brings Henry closer to the care he desperately needs.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing Henry’s story. It truly could save his life.
Henry has fought so hard his entire life. He deserves a chance to keep fighting.
Thank you for your kindness, love, and support ❤️

Update 27 April 2026

Henry is currently quite drowsy and spaced out due to his pain medication, but one of the most important milestones today was for him to urinate. This is a crucial sign, as it indicates that the nerves have not been permanently damaged.

I’m really pleased to share that he has been able to pass urine, which means we can now move forward with his ongoing treatment and recovery plan.

Thank you to all those that have donated so far. Please continue to share this link with your friends and family. Thank you so much!
