About Heidi:
Heidi is a 7-year-old German Shepherd who has been a loyal and loving companion to our family. Her gentle nature and unwavering affection have touched the lives of everyone who has met her. Until this tragic accident, Heidi was a picture of health and vitality.
The Accident:
On July 22nd, Heidi was struck by a car while on a walk. The impact has left her with severe injuries that require immediate surgical intervention. The veterinary team has provided us with a discharge summary detailing the extent of her injuries, which include HBC, shock, internal injuries, fractures on hip and femur. Without surgery, Heidi faces significant pain and the risk of long-term complications.
Our Situation:
As many of you know, our family is currently facing another significant challenge. My father-in-law is undergoing intensive cancer treatment, which has placed an immense financial strain on us. With medical bills and treatments consuming all available resources, we are finding it incredibly difficult to manage the cost of Heidi’s surgery.
