We never imagined we would be writing this, but our hearts are breaking and we need help for our sweet boy, Hasten.

Hasten is our 2-year-old Cane Corso, a gentle, loving soul who brings so much joy and protection into our lives. Just yesterday, we noticed that his right eye had suddenly become severely swollen, to the point where he could barely see. We rushed him to an emergency pet hospital today, terrified of what might be wrong.

After being examined, the vets told us that Hasten has a serious abscess located dangerously close to his eye. Because this area is extremely delicate - filled with nerves and blood vessels - they were unable to treat it safely at the emergency clinic. We were informed that surgery is very likely necessary, but before anything can be done, Hasten must undergo a specialized diagnostic check-up to determine if a foreign object is lodged there and to plan the safest possible treatment.

The devastating part is the cost.

The diagnostic check-up alone is estimated to be between $3,000-$5,000, not including surgery, medication, or recovery care.

Hasten is in pain, uncomfortable, and struggling to see. Waiting is not an option, but the financial burden is more than we can manage on our own. We are doing everything we can for him, and asking for help is incredibly hard - but we would do anything to give him a chance to heal and live a long, happy life.
