Help Save Haneen & Noor's Family!

Hi everyone, I'm Steph and have created this fundraising for my dear friends Haneen & Noor in the North of Gaza. They previously had a fund that they can no longer access and are in desperate need for your kind donations.

I have included a message from Haneen below.

Haneen's birthday is on April 1st, I think it would be truly incredible if we can give her an amazing gift by donating to help her family and offer them some rest during this incredibly difficult time.

For full transparency - your donations will be transferred to my bank account and sent directly to Haneen's in Palestine, I am happy to provide receipts and will post regular updates from Haneen and Noor. The international transfer from my bank is £9.50 and I will cover this fee so rest assured your full donation (minus Go Fund Me's fee) will reach her family - anything and everything is appreciated!

After being displaced several times since October 2023, they were able to return to their home in the North, only to find it destroyed. Please contribute anything you can to help their family receive urgent medical treatment and access basic necessities to ensure their survival.

In Haneen's own words:

We are Haneen and Noor, Haneen is a public relations graduate, media and Nour is studying radio and television. We left with our family from our house in the northern Gaza Strip and headed south of the valley. During this trip, we were displaced several times. It has been more than a year of heavy, difficult and very painful days where we have experienced all the pain and oppression of all we have, I see this has affected my life and the people around me.

As for my family, we have lost everything, even the beautiful features of life. My brother has been injured since 22 November, 2023, and his injury was very serious - he still suffers from his injury. He did not receive treatment because the hospitals of the north of the Strip left the service and he could not leave the country to receive treatment abroad. His injury led to a lack of oxygen inside his body.

Our house has been damaged by the war, and even the neighborhood we live in has been badly damaged. And now we have nothing. The neighborhood I lived in for 23 years has disappeared, and along with my memories about those favorite places.

We had many memories in the country, we lost our best friend, Dina, on 22 October, 2023. All the bad and good days were with her. Life died with all members of her family, and only the memories and pictures that bring us together together, we hope to immortalise her memory and keep her impact in this world.

Our family consists of my father, mother, my brothers and my nephews, all 9 people, my father is 56 years old and suffers from a stroke, high blood pressure, and my mother has cancer, which she cannot access treatment for.

We lost everything and my sister, her husband, their son and daughter also lost their house and everything they had. They do not have clothes left to wear. We live in the northern Gaza Strip, where there is no food or water, suffering from scarcity of food, water scarcity, constant shelling, and all forms of violence. We lost many things: our friends in the school, the family of the neighborhood, our friend, her family, as well as many family members.

I don’t want my family and I to suffer the same fate.

All funds from this fundraising campaign will be used for peaceful purposes to give me and my family access to the most basic of necessities - food and water.

It breaks my heart that we must restart our fund and ask, once again, for your kindness and support. I only want to save my family and ensure they live a happy, free, and beautiful life.
