Hi, my name is Jowairia and this is my first cousin Hamza and his beautiful family. Hamza bhai was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer in 2019 and he’s been battling it since for his beautiful daughter, wife and father (my maternal uncle, my mom’s brother). He’s the only brother and has six sisters who are married. His mom lost her battle to cancer recently. One of his sisters sadly passed away recently from Dengue and left behind a daughter who was adopted by her maternal aunt. He has been battling cancer against all odds facing so many losses along the way with so much courage and patience without complaining. Hamza bhai was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer in December 2019 and started chemotherapy in January 2020 in Pakistan. He was a newly wed then and had an infant daughter Parishay. The whole family was devastated. He had 6 rounds of chemotherapy before undergoing cancer debulking surgery (bilateral Orchdectomy and trans urethral resection) in June 2020. He had 20 cycles of radiation therapy in that same year and the cancer went into remission. Tragically the cancer came back and this time more aggressively. My family has been there all along and have been supporting him but now we all need your help. Hamza bhai comes from an economically challenging background and he’s the only breadwinner. My uncle is old, weak and retired. Hamza bhai’s wife is a homemaker and they have no source of income (ever since the diagnosis). My mom wanted to submit Hamza bhai’s reports to Memorial Sloan Kettering Center in NYC for a second opinion. Since Hamza bhai doesn’t have health insurance and has been paying out of pocket for treatment, getting a second opinion out of pocket is beyond our means and we need your help. Please help us save Hamza bhai. May Allah reward you all for your help and good intentions.
