Debra Beauchan is battling three separate cancers (breast cancer, metastatic bone cancer, and endometrial cancer). Her best chance for survival is the Envita Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ where they specialize in complex cancer treatment. Unfortunately, her insurance refuses to cover the expenses which are estimated to be at $150,000. For the first time in her life she is asking others for help.
There are many amazing individuals in this world who have served others by giving so much love in all the ways that matter, and yet go through life without ever asking for anything in return. That would be my mother, Debra Beauchan. She is incredible mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, etc. She is a woman who spent a good part of her life raising 2 girls by her own, working 2 jobs- 16 hours a day to give her kids and grandkids the best opportunities that life had to offer. She often housed other family members over the years and gave whatever time and money she had to make the next person feel loved and cared for. She ALWAYS did it SELFLESSY and LOVIINGLY even when it meant it was the last dime she had in her pocket or it meant she would have to do without something for herself.
She has constantly sacrificed and put others before herself all her life and never once has asked for anything - until for now. Just this once, she is asking to LIVE, for a chance to beat cancer and have more time with her kids and grandbabies. In the past year, she had surgery for breast cancer, and then surgery for endometrial cancer. She also had sepsis, several blood transfusions, and more. Debra is somewhat of a mystery case, as now doctors believe she also has metastatic bone cancer, but they are unable to link any of these cancers to each other, meaning they believe that she has 3 different cancers that are not quite related to each other. Sadly, nobody has taken the initiative to treat her, the insurance system has kicked her around, and if treatment has been offered, it is only been for pain management…THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE to her or her family. SHE WANTS to FIGHT and LIVE, so we are sending her to a place in Arizona to do just that. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover this and the cost will be around $150,000. Needless to say, we need to find a way to come up with the funds to get her to the facility where doctors can figure out how best to manage her case and treat her aggressively. We are trying to move as fast as we can as the doctors she have seen thus far keep telling us that time is running out for her and that she is a ticking time bomb.
Debra’s goal is to receive treatment at the Envita Medical Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. This facility specializes in personalized oncology treatment with years of research and clinical experience treating the most difficult and complex cases. Doctors have told her that the treatment will be for 3 months at a cost of $120,000.00. Additionally, she will have to cover the costs for local accommodations during this time as well as transportation and other life expenses. As per the discussion with the Envita Medical Center, the total estimated expense for medical treatment and other living expenses for this time is $150,000.
Beyond her 2 daughters, her 6 grandchildren want to have their grandma around, especially now that one will be getting married later this year. We have watched her battle day in and day out, it is unbelievable how hard she has fought. She is the ultimate warrior and a living angel to so many who know her. Please, we humbly ask for any contribution you can offer to help give this extraordinary woman a chance at beating this and living the life she greatly desires to have. Truly, anything helps and anything is appreciated.
