Help Save Girlie Francis - Urgent Surgery Needed

Donation protected
The Situation
Our beloved Girlie Francis, lovingly known as Gramma, is facing the toughest fight of her life. On Thursday, February 13th, she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm that urgently requires life-saving brain surgery at the University Hospital of the West Indies. Without this surgery, she is at high risk of stroke or worse.

At 80 years young, Gramma is the heart and soul of our family. She is a jovial, selfless, and God-fearing woman, always helping others, always smiling, always praying. She has spent her entire life nurturing, giving, and taking care of those around her—including her husband, Joshua, who suffered a devastating stroke 12 years ago. Now, she is the one who needs us.

Why We Need Your Help
The cost of the surgery, hospital stay, and recovery is estimated at 5 million Jamaican dollars (approx. USD $32,000)—far beyond what our family can afford. Her insurance will not cover the full cost, and we have to purchase critical surgical equipment mostly out-of-pocket before the procedure can even be scheduled. The reality of the healthcare system in Jamaica is harsh, and we are doing everything in our power to ensure Gramma gets the care she needs in time. The longer we have to wait, the more risk she undergoes. Her surgeons are confident in the procedure, and our faith as a family is strong.

Breakdown of Expenses
Surgery & Medical Equipment – The most urgent cost
Hospital Stay & Aftercare – Recovery in a controlled and safe environment
Medication – Critical to her healing process
Follow-up Care & Support – Ensuring long-term recovery

How You Can Help
We need to raise JMD 5 million (USD $32,000) by Monday, February 24th (God's Willing) to cover the urgent medical expenses. Every dollar counts. No amount is too small.

If you are unable to donate, please help by sharing this campaign with as many people as possible. We also welcome prayers, positive thoughts, and emotional support during this difficult time.

A Personal Plea
I’m not someone who asks for help easily, but right now, we need it. Gramma has spent her entire life being there for everyone else. She deserves a fighting chance to keep living, to keep smiling, to keep spreading love.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness, generosity, and support mean everything to us.
