Hey everyone!!! My name is Darika Curry. I am the niece of Mrs. Gloria P. Neely. Today we write to tell a story of a woman who represents the true definition of a Proverbs 31 Warrior. It says, " For her worth is far above rubies, strength and honor are her clothing, she also rises while it is yet night, and provides food for her household, and a portion for her maidservants. She stretches her hands out to the distaff, she extends her hand to the poor, but a woman who fear the Lord, shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands. She shall rejoice in time to come".

Our Gloria is filled with a legacy of love and compassion. Not just for family but for all who have come in contact with her. She is the rock and pillar of strength to her community, church, family, and friends.

Gloria Neely is the heartbeat of her family - a devoted wife, a loving mother, aunt, Godmother, and a woman whose quiet strength has carried those around her through life's toughest storms. Today, she faces one of her own.

Mrs. Gloria Neely is in the fight for her life.

Aunt Glo - as she is affectionately called - is presently admitted in the Intensive Care Unit, where she is being treated and closely monitored, awaiting surgery. She requires emergency cardiac surgery at an advanced cardiac center overseas.

Gloria has been diagnosed with a Pseudoaneurysm of the aortic root and infective endocarditis, two life-threatening heart conditions that require immediate surgical intervention. Without this emergency surgery, her life hangs in the balance.

The diagnosis came suddenly, shaking the foundation of a family that depends on her love, her laughter, strength, support, and her unwavering presence. Her condition is critical - her heart is under siege, and time is running out. The surgery she needs is complex and urgent, and the cost is overwhelming.

Aunt Glo has always been the one to show up for others. She's the kind of mother who stays up all night when her child is sick, the kind of wife who holds her family together with grace and grit. She's never asked for much or hardly anything at all - but now, she needs our help.
