Help save Ginger the rescue pony

Ginger is a very special horse. She has a gentle soul and loves her job as a therapy horse. In the last 4 years since we rescued her, she has selflessly provided countless hours of therapy to so many people with disabilities in our community. In 2017 she was nominated as North Carolina's Special Olympics Horse of the year. Our goal is to continue her journey in helping others. Ginger has fallen critically ill and after 30 days, 4 vets, and multiple medications, we have finally received an accurate diagnosis. Ginger has right dorsal colitis and unfortunately this late diagnosis requires immediate and expensive medical intervention. Ginger is in desperate need of a plasma transfusion and without one she will not have a fighting chance at recovery.
