Help Save GGU Law from Closure

Golden Gate University School of law “GGU Law” opened in 1901 and has produced thousands of outstanding lawyers that have gone on to become judges, congressman, mayors, CEO’s and even Hollywood producers.
In summary, GGU Law has served San Francisco and the legal profession since 1901 and is routinely ranked as one of the most diverse law schools in the country. GGU Law also produces lawyers with a fighting spirt that are scrappy, hungry and eager to fight injustice. This is why GGU Law is routinely named one of the best public interest schools in the country. As a testament to GGU Law’s fighting spirt is that it survived the 1906 Earthquake in San Francisco. This was because students and professors were willing to study in tents surrounded by campfires as San Francisco’s infrastructure crumbled.
If a major natural disaster could not discontinue GGU Law prior to its fifth anniversary, President David Fike should not be able to close it after only a few years as President of GGU based on a vague and undefined claim of “fiscal exigency”.
GGU Law, which existed for 123 years and survived the 1906 earthquake, two World Wars, the Korean War, JFK’s Assassination, Martin Luther King Jr’s Civil Rights Movement, the Cold War, Vietnam, September 11th, and numerous other historical adversities GGU Law is set to unceremoniously close because Fike sent an unapproved blast email on November 30, 2023, during law school finals.
To combat this wrong legal funds are necessary to preserve Golden Gate and hopefully appoint a receiver to save the law school, which is what Western State Law School in Orange County had to do.https://www.ocbar.org/All-News/News-View/ArticleId/3690/October-2019-Deans-Corner-What-a-Ride-It-Has-Been-The-Law-School-That-Refused-to-Quit
GGU law can be saved it will just take some legal work and the lawsuit has already been filed Pro Bono, but to continue on will require some funds.
