Help Save George's Life and Belongings

This is my father, George Beaver. He did his best to raise me and my twin sister, Angel. We live in Panama City (mostly). He and my mom, Melissa, were homeless for a few years and technically still are. However, now they're staying at a home with a woman kind enough to help take care of him. I happened to have already lived in said home a year prior. He was too stubborn to come stay with us for a while, he never was the kind of person that willingly relies on others for anything more than a cig or two. However, recently we got news that changed everything.

It all started with a simple blood test. Just routine, since he hadn't gone to the doctor in a while. They didn't expect much of it, but when the results came in on July 11th, the doctor immediately called my dad and told him to go straight to the hospital. By the time they got there, my mom had to repeat the doctor's instructions to the staff, because he was starting to get disoriented. He needed an emergency blood transfusion.

At first, she was told he'd be out in a few hours. Next thing she knew, he was being airlifted to a hospital in Pensacola for better treatment.

That morning, I'd slept in late, completely unaware of what was going on. He was already on the way to the helipad when I was finally woken up to the news.

It was so bad, the first thing I was told is "Your father is dying."

The first day in the hospital, he was treated well. They did their best to keep him calm, to lighten the load. They did inform him of what was wrong with his blood- He simply wasn't producing enough red blood cells. Most of his blood was white blood cells- Everything else was low on his blood tests, with his white blood cell count being extremely high. They did many blood transfusions in an attempt to get his red blood cell count up, but it barely made a difference.

However, they couldn't keep the full truth from him. Late that night, when my mom was on the phone with him, one of the nurses went in to do her regular rounds.

My mom listened as that nurse looked at my Dad and broke down, admitting that she couldn't do it anymore. They'd kept many details of his treatment secret. The "antibiotics" they'd been giving him? They're for cancer, and at the time the doctors had no idea what kind of cancer it is.

During his stay, they did a biopsy to try and figure out where his cancer originated. They told him it was just to figure out where his cancer is and what kind. They admitted the truth to my mom. They realized that he has cancer cells all throughout his body. They just needed to figure out where it originated from.

After 6 days of him being in Pensacola, on July 17th, his insurance decided to cut his treatment. His case manager had to pay for him to get home to us, because they refused to even give him that. The biopsy test hadn't even come back yet. They gave him a temporary diagnosis of CLL and sent him home.

The hospital's advice was to go to a specialist and get their help applying for disability. Thankfully, his insurance will pay, but really that's not what I'm worried about. What I'm worried about is what likely won't be paid for.

He can't work anymore - Without that job, my parents could lose their truck (which they've been living in), their RV, and their storage units with all of their belongings. Hell, they already had to give up their dog, Goldie. He also needs to keep himself fed and afford items to help with mobility issues from his illnesses, and my mom's mobility issues that she's had for years now. Without income, how will he do that?

The results of the biopsy finally came in today (Sat, July 19th). My mom has been keeping tabs on his lab results through his patient portal, just so we know what to expect. His diagnosises? CLL, SLL, Macrocytic Anemia and Thrombocytopenia. 99% of his bone marrow is cancer cells, and the remaining 1% shows heavy signs of distress from fighting infections. It is a very clearly aggressive case.

For the sake of those who aren't doctors or other victims of these conditions, this is what Google pulls up for each of them.

Though CLL and SLL are mildly contradictory in definition, I assume the reason he has both diagnosises is because he has an about even distribution of cancer cells in his lymph nodes and bone marrow. According to the results, his bone marrow shows signs of both.

At this point, my mom and I are worried that we'll be saying goodbye to him soon. That he won't live long at all. Hell, it's a miracle he's survived as long as he has and has been able to still be up walking, talking and acting as if he weren't practically dead already.

However, I'm not ready to stop fighting. That's my father. That's the man that taught me to fight, that lit up when I showed interest in his favorite games, that showed me how to play the Sims and Yu-Gi-Oh. The man that worked day in and day out to make sure Angel and I had what we needed to survive when we were kids. The man that worked his damn life away. The man that is supposed to give Angel away at her wedding, and annoy her children when they finally come around.

I can't just let it end like this, but I don't even have a job myself. There's nothing I can do but ask for help. So, please. As much as I hate begging strangers. Please, if you can help, don't let my dad go down without a fight.

UPDATE:We have the medical documents (click to view)! It is censored to prevent identity theft, but other than that, it's here. I had to harass my mom for it because she kept forgetting, not that I blame her. Gonna post this as a proper update, but I feel as if it belongs in the description.

apparently Google Drive is being a nonlistening a-hole again, I set it to allow anyone with the link to view.
