We are a Veterans Organization that has been serving our community since 1947. Due to mandated closure of nonessential businesses our post, Frank M. Noyes VFW Post 8892, Avon, Massachusetts, complied with the recommendation of the CDC and our federal government. This means any revenues from hall rentals have ceased to exist. The VFW is a nonprofit, and still has to pay insurance, electricity, gas, water bills along with maintenance and upkeep of the building, which is in need of a new roof. We serve local veterans luncheons, provide scholarships, and donate food at the holidays to the less fortunate in our community and more. Due to current financial issues, we are in danger of losing our post. Our wonderful veterans deserve all the help we can give them and any donations you give will be used to help us continue with these services plus provide the Veterans a home to call their own. To all veterans and their families, we thank you for your service and sacrifices!
