Hello all, I am Anthony Magaña, owner and operator of Flacos Berkeley. Five years ago I took over Flacos from my uncle Antonio, to keep the family legacy going and continue his vision. Five years later here we are, Covid hit us hard but we pushed through, with all its ups and downs. But now unfortunately we cannot continue on this journey during this economic downturn. We are here to try and save Flacos, and want to be able to adjust to this new economic climate, but we need your help. This GoFundMe will go directly towards shifting from a full-service restaurant to an industrial kitchen so we can continue the legacy of food we started 22 years ago. Grocery stores, grab-and-go foods, take-out, and pop-ups will be available with this new vision.
