Keep Five Alive: Urgent Surgery Needed

A few days ago, our 8-month-old cat named "Five" was attacked by a loose dog named Missy Gibson on our property. He was rescued as a baby from the 5 Freeway by Jay Herrera and is super adorable. Five is extremely lovable and loves to cuddle. I've contacted the Gibsons but was met with hostility and anger. I should also note that this dog previously killed two of our neighbor's cats a few months ago.

Five is currently in an incubator with a collapsed lung. I held onto the dog before animal control arrived but was told the family wanted to go to court and threatened to have me arrested for holding their dog while waiting for animal control.

We are asking for any help for assistance to keep "Five" alive and to help cover costs for his surgery. This was obviously not something we could ever prepare for, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
