Help save five Lebanese rescues

As many of you already know, we're those two animal crazy women who have previously re-homed a collective total of eleven dogs from Lebanon in the U.K.

We have five more heartbreaking cases which we now need your help with.

Alana's Story

Alana was found on the streets of Beirut as a tiny, helpless, paralysed kitten and taken in by a resident of the City. Whilst in her foster home she's been playing endlessly with her foster siblings and acting like any kitten should. Unfortunately though, this can't be her permanent home and she needs to come to the U.K. to have specialist treatment and find a home which can give her the daily care she needs.

Alana has been diagnosed with Syringohydromyelia and will never be able to use her back legs. Once she's in the U.K., we will assess whether she would benefit from amputation of these.

We are so excited to give Alana the long, happy life she deserves and to provide her with the care and treatments she needs and are incredibly grateful for your help and support in order to achieve this for her.

Sunny's Story

Sunny was found on the streets of a small town outside of Beirut last year by a Lebanese animal lover. She has endured neglect, abuse and an unthinkable amount of pain and suffering from a range of health issues caused by living on the streets for so long. Sunny was so malnourished when she was found that she couldn’t walk or move. One of her front legs had also been broken and was bent inwards.

Following her rescue, Sunny suffered a uterus infection that almost killed her, and she had to undergo several rounds of surgery to clear the infection and minimise her pain.

Unfortunately her suffering didn’t end there. She was experiencing numbness in her hind legs, which caused her to chew off parts of her hind feet. She was diagnosed with polyneuropathy. This condition makes it difficult for her to move around, but luckily she is not paralysed and with the right care we are hopeful that one day she will be able to run around and enjoy life.

Sunny is a fighter. Despite everything she has endured, she still loves life and wags her tail and wants to play. We want to fight for Sunshine too and we want to bring her to the U.K. where we can get her the medical care she needs to help her walk again, and find a home for her that can finally give her the love and comfort she deserves.

Lilly's Story

Lillie is a Chihuahua mix who was dumped in the mountains and left to die at 7 months old. Thankfully she was picked up by an amazing resident of the city who has given her a loving foster home, however this is not a long term solution and if we can't bring her to the U.K., she would be placed in a shelter. Lilly has such a bright future and we can't wait to see her thrive in her forever home.

Teddy's Story

Teddy is a Bichon cross who was held in a small, dark cupboard for months until he was rescued. Despite his horrendous start to life at the hands of humans, he's not forgotten how to cuddle and play and is such an affectionate little boy. He is currently being fostered with Lilly and it's amazing to see them both help each other find comfort and companionship in each other.

Bruno is a Pomeranian who was a family pet for many years, until his owners bought a Labrador and decided they didn't want Bruno anymore. Having spent his whole life as a domestic pet, Bruno would is not suitable to be placed in a shelter and we are therefore bringing him to the UK to find his forever home.

Thank you for your continued support, which we appreciate from the bottom of our hearts.
