Help Save Fergie and Sterling's Lives
Donation protected
One of our rescue cats, Fergie, fell ill about a week ago. He has been to urgent care two days in a row, which has left us with a bill of $1500, but they couldn't figure out what's wrong with him. He then still had a fever of 106.7, which is dangerous in cats and people. At that time, I noticed he was jaundiced, so I rushed him to his primary vet to be hospitalized. He has been there a week, where a feeding tube and IV were placed. His fever panel came back negative for everything they tested for, so we still don't know what's happening with him.
Now today, his friend Sterling (Pepper) has come down with the same symptoms and is now hospitalized with Fergie. They both have bad diarrhea as well, so the next step is doing a PCR to test their stool for 9 different possibilities. We're not sure, but their hospital stays and all tests are estimated at around $5500. As a donation-based rescue, we really desperately need your help with their vet care. Every $ counts to help us hopefully save Fergie and Sterling. They are such sweet boys that do not deserve to be so sick. Please donate so we can keep them receiving the help they need right now.
