Help save family’s one year old puppy

Our poor 1 year old puppy got out the gate on 8/31 after 10pm we’ve searched for hours didn’t find her. Our daughter’s were devastated to know we couldn’t find her but I still had hope that possibly someone was nice enough to turn her in. Today on 9/1 we went to Hayward animal shelter & found out she was hit by a vehicle. Super grateful she’s alive but I was absolutely heartbroken when I picked her up from the shelter and seen that she was unable to walk. I feel so useless and terrible that I can’t even afford to take her for an emergency check up for X-RAYS Or anything. I notice in her urine she’s bleeding. I called the vet & they said she needs emergency surgery. I feel like the worst dog mom it’s literally like not being able to help your own child.


 At the moment we are living off of one source of income and barely making ends meet. We’re just two young parents trying our BEST going through rough times since I got laid off, it seems like one thing after another. I don’t want to disappoint our daughters & have our pup pass away in front of us. Please If you find it in your heart to donate anything will be very much appreciated & all funds will go to the surgery and medications to help our puppy survive & continue her happy life with her family.

 We had her since she was just 3 weeks old and has grown to be a big part of our family. She is such a smart and energetic dog. Loves camping, swimming & playing with her sisters. She holds a special meaning in my heart because she shares a birthday with my deceased grandma that I loved very much. I never thought this would happen to my baby. Please help my daughter’s best buddy get better. She is an indoor dog and didn’t know any better but to keep sniffing and exploring.
