Help Save Family Farm Post-Covid & Stroke

Hi, my name is Valen, and I'm fundraising for my Aunt Vakena & Uncle John, on behalf of my family.

My aunt and uncle were both diagnosed with Covid immediately following Thanksgiving. What started as a head cold, quickly transitioned into bronchitis for both of them. Uncle John has since contracted pneumonia and suffered a stroke last night, December 20.

He was rushed to a local hospital by ambulance, then immediately transferred via Life Flight to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis to remove a blood clot in his brain.

His injuries were too substantial, and they were unable to operate. He’s currently quarantined in the ICU fighting for his life, alone.

Although my aunt was working, my Uncle John was the main provider. Now that both are unable to work, the farm remains their only source of income moving forward. Dwindling resources and now massive hospital bills threaten to strip them of any hope of saving the animals and losing the farm-their home.

I am aiming to generate funds, IMMEDIATELY, to help alleviate the financial burden for the next three months,

This will keep the animals alive through the Winter- providing feed and water, cover my aunt and uncle’s basic necessities- food, water, mortgage and utilities, hire one person to assist my Aunt Vakena during the Winter, and give her time to plan for a new normal, hopefully in the presence of my Uncle John.

While my Uncle John’s life remains in limbo, I am asking that you please donate to help my Aunt Vakena and Uncle John save their livelihood during the most challenging and uncertain time of their lives.

Donation or not, please pray that Uncle John lives. May he only sustain minimal injuries, heal quickly and return to the passion that sustains him and my aunt. Pray that they both may have peace and never lose faith.
