As horse owners, we always hope our horses will live forever.
And sometimes, it feels like they will.
A few days ago, our beloved lesson horse, Fallon, developed a sudden and severe colic emergency.
Our team acted immediately. Veterinarians worked tirelessly both at the barn and at the hospital to give her every possible chance. When her condition became critical, Fallon underwent emergency surgery.
The surgery was extensive, and despite the odds, she showed us something incredible afterward: fight.
For a brief moment, things seemed hopeful.
She was still with us.
She was battling.
And it started to look that maybe a miracle was possible.
But life is unpredictable.
As the next day unfolded, Fallon began declining again.
She developed a fever.
Her heart rate was high.
Her intestines weren’t working anymore.
Continuing treatment would not give Fallon a meaningful recovery. It would only prolong her suffering and lead to more painful complications.
The kindest gift we could give her was peace.
On the evening of May 30th, 2026, surrounded by people who loved her, Fallon was humanely euthanized.
She is no longer in pain.
We are heartbroken, but we are also grateful. Grateful for every veterinarian, technician, and staff member who fought for her. Grateful that we were able to give her every chance possible. Grateful for the memories she gave to so many riders, students, and families. And grateful for the community that came together to support her.
The funds raised through this GoFundMe will help cover Fallon’s emergency surgery, hospitalization, veterinary care, and the significant expenses incurred while fighting to save her life.
To everyone who donated, shared, prayed, and supported Fallon during this journey: thank you.
Fallon was a fighter.
She was deeply loved.
And she will live on in our hearts forever.
After a cloudy and rainy day, the sky cleared for Fallon and revealed a beautiful sunset ❤️️
