Help Save Ezio: Urgent Cardiology Care Needed

Hi, my name is Breanna. I am raising funds for our cat, Ezio. He is the staple of our family and means the world to us. Ezio is a very healthy cat with so much life and love to give. He has only had minor issues here and there that come along with getting older.

However, monday june 16th we noticed something was very wrong, as his breathing was not right. We took him to the ER vet, and they said he had fluid around his heart and lungs. He had to have a procedure to remove the fluids. We had the procedure done, which came with risks, but he survived and is so far doing okay.

We followed up with a cardiologist on Thursday 6-19. We received some not so great news. He was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and left side congestive heart failure..

we then followed up again on june 26th. His kidneys are responding to treatment well but he had to have his medications adjusted because he still has fluids around his heart and lungs. The cardiologist did a blood test to check for infection, which may be causing or could contribute to worsening his predicament.

The first cardiology appointment was 1000, the second one ended up being 1200. The testing ended up being a lot more expensive then we thought it was going to be. We have another follow up appointment on July 10th which will be around $300.

Everyone who knows me, knows I'm stubborn and I hate asking for help..

We are trying to do this on our own but this time we could really use some help

We want to give Ezio a fighting chance to have the longest life expectancy he can have, with the best care he can recieve, while keeping him as comfortable as we can. After the comanionship he has blessed us with, my fiance and I owe that to him. Our home just would not be the same without him..
