Help Save Baby Evie - Fighting FIP
Hi everyone,
My name is Samantha and I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support in saving the life of my friend Robin’s sweet 4-month-old kitten, Evie. They adopted her from the local shelter and immediately fell in love with her. As soon as Evie came home she fit right in and it was clear she exactly where she belonged, her forever home. Just a couple weeks ago, Evie was full of energy, chasing toys and playing with her family. But recently, she started showing signs that something wasn't right--she was losing weight, became bloated and lethargic, and was not her usual playful self. After an emergency vet visit she was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP)-a devastating disease that used to be considered a death sentence for cats.
Thankfully, there is now a treatment that offers real hope. It's a long, costly process that involves daily antiviral medication over the course of 84 days, along with regular vet visits, bloodwork, and supportive care. Given her condition and overall health, the vet believes this course of treatment will save Evie’s life. Evie means the world to Robin and her family, especially her young children. If you know Robin you know her pets are more than just pets- they’re family and Evie has become part of that family. She deserves a chance to live a full, happy life, and they are doing everything they can to make that happen.
But they need your help.
If you're able to donate-even a few dollars-it would mean so much. Every little bit helps get them closer to giving Evie the treatment she needs to survive. And if you can't donate, sharing this campaign with others would also be a huge help. I know it would mean the world to this family.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading and caring. I know with your support we can give Evie the fighting chance she deserves.
