Help Save Evie – Fighting FIP
Hi everyone, my name is Caroline Owen, and I’m raising funds to help my sweet cat, Evie. She is a little over one year old and has recently been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP).
For those who may not know, FIP is a rare and often fatal disease caused by a mutation of the feline coronavirus. It weakens the immune system and leads to severe inflammation in the body. Until very recently, FIP was considered untreatable, but now there is hope thanks to new medications. Unfortunately, this treatment is very costly and requires months of daily medication, frequent bloodwork, and ongoing vet visits.
Evie has been such a light in my life. She is playful, affectionate, and full of personality. I’m a full-time college student, and while I am doing everything I can to cover her medical care, the costs are overwhelming. Between the price of the medicine, diagnostic tests, and veterinary bills, the expenses are far beyond what I can manage on my own.
Any donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and go directly toward Evie’s treatment and care. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser means the world to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read Evie’s story. Your kindness and generosity can help give her the chance at a healthy, happy life.
