Saleh is a 25-year-old father from Gaza who once worked as a car painter, providing for his family with pride. When war broke out, everything changed. His home was destroyed, and he, his wife, and their two young children were forced to flee with nothing. They spent months being moved from one refugee camp to another, never knowing if they would make it to the next day. They escaped death multiple times, surviving airstrikes, hunger, and freezing cold nights without enough clothing to keep warm.

His daughter, Aqbal, was born in the first weeks of the war, severely malnourished, just like her mother who barely had enough food to sustain herself. Their two and a half year old son, Maher, grew weaker by the day. With no steady access to food, medicine, or even basic winter clothing.

Now that the war has ended, they have returned home, only to find it in ruins. The structure is barely standing, and almost everything inside has been stolen. No furniture, no clothes, no essentials, just rubble and the remnants of a life that was taken from them.

Despite everything, Saleh still holds onto hope. His dream is simple: to rebuild. To give his children a safe place to sleep, to put food on the table, and to restart his life.

But after losing everything, he cannot do it alone.
