Elavil-Kitty and Prozac have been with me since they were born in my home six years ago, the last two of a litter of seven from two stray cats I took in. Over the years, they’ve become inseparable companions, not just to each other but to me as well. We’ve moved together from Texarkana to Louisiana, and they’ve been a constant source of comfort and joy, especially as I manage life on a limited disability income.

A few weeks ago, Elavil-Kitty was bitten three times on the jaw by a venomous snake. At first, I thought he was healing, but the wound keeps reopening and has become much worse. I am heartbroken and worried, as I simply cannot afford the urgent vet care he now needs. On top of this, both Elavil and Prozac suffer every summer from a severe flea allergy called Milliary Dermatitis, which leaves their ears raw and bloody. The vet visit is critical not only to treat the snake bite but also to help them manage this painful allergy.

Elavil and Prozac are incredibly bonded, and I can’t imagine losing one of them. I am asking for help to keep my little furry family together. Your support would mean the world to us, and I am deeply grateful for any help you can give to save Elavil-Kitty’s life and keep our family whole.
