Help Save Eddie’s Hiney!

“We dont realize how precious life is until our life is on the line. Many of you know Eddie, he’s a big guy with an even bigger heart and so full of life. The father of 6 with 2 of them still being in grade school. Well as you have it Eddie’s had some battles the last few years, one being a car accident he had on his way to work that did some damage to his back where he had a full Lumbar Fusion and wasn’t sure he’d work again and be able to provide for his family. But he fought and got through it like a champ, like a Hernandez! That's brotherly pride! Lol! As life seemed to be looking up, Eddie had gone out hunting and had an accident where he came off his 4 wheeler and was injured. It wasn’t severe, but he did have pain and went to the ER to see what was wrong. Well what was to come from this, I think we can call a blessing. During the exam and scans they saw something that didn’t look right in his colon. Come to find out he had a cancerous tumor of which he would have surgery to remove but didn’t know the severity of it until a biopsy was run post op. Eddie was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. Here again he was facing another life changing situation, if not life ending. The surgery was done on November 28th and they have removed the tumor along with. Foot and a half of his colon. They also removed 26 lymph nodes and he will now have to endure chemo and medicine to ensure they get any remaining chance of it returning. Eddie will be out of work for the foreseeable 3-4 months. Eddie is a strong and proud and wouldn’t never ask for help. So we are doing it for him and his family. I would like to ask all of you who know him and who are able, to donate to his gofund me page to help him and his family with the financial burden they are going to endure. I’m a firm believer that our most important thing to do is to help others in need and trust me I as his brother will be doing my share to help him and his family out. Life is about these moments where a simply act of kindness can change the outcome of someone’s future. This is where our hearts show who we really are despite everything else we see going on in this world.
