Help Jenny Save Durham's Only Indoor Dog Pool!

Hi Everyone

I am raising funds to help an amazing person take over a therapy pool for dogs in order to effectively help as many dogs as she can. Her name is Jenny Stachel and she is a certified Canine Hydrotherapist and Canine Massage Therapist. Her passion is helping animals live their best life and she's spent years in various parts of the pet industry.

Jenny's Dream

Jenny's dream has been to buy the pool for a few years and finally she has a chance to do so, but only if she can get help to keep things going. She is trying to save the dog hydrotherapy pool she has worked at for some time and always hoped to take it over, so she can improve it and allow more dogs to experience the benefits of Hydrotherapy. The current owner has to step away from the pool business for health and personal reasons, so we need your help to continue having it run and heal as many dogs as possible.

What is Hydrotherapy, and Why?

Hydrotherapy is controlled swims done in "magic" warm water to help ease achy muscles and joints. Certified Hydrotherapists assess each dog, plan the swim sessions and monitor their progress, adjusting therapies as needed. The dogs are able to strengthen and even regain use of muscles and limbs! Sessions can also include Canine Massage and use of Infra-Red Light to speed healing.

Helping Dogs in Need

Already, Jenny has helped a number of dogs regain their ability to walk through hydrotherapy, among helping plenty of other dogs with various health issues. It's seriously been something of a miracle factory and it's the only dog pool anywhere nearby. It would be a shame for it to completely fall by the wayside for all the dogs who need help and for their loving owners.
