Hi everyone,

I’m fundraising for my beautiful boy Duke, who is currently in critical care at SASH (Small Animal Specialist Hospital). Duke is fighting for his life after a severe megacolon flare-up but what’s most concerning now is fluid around his lungs that’s making it hard for him to breathe.

Duke’s story started when I rescued him as a tiny, sick baby. I remember telling him, “If you make it through this, I’ll keep you forever.” He did: and he’s been my loyal, gentle shadow ever since. Duke isn’t just a cat, he’s a gentleman, the lead bug catcher of our home, and the calm presence that keeps all his brothers and sisters & me feeling safe and loved. Everyone adores him. He’s the chillest soul with the kindest heart.

Right now, I’m doing everything I can to get him the urgent, life-saving care he needs. The vets have told me his treatment and hospitalization could cost around $12,000, and I simply can’t cover it alone.

If you can spare even a few dollars, it would mean the world, not just to me, but to all the little furry siblings waiting for their big brother to come home. We need our bug catcher back. ️
