Dr.Jazz Soda Fountain & Grille - Previously known as the Lebanon, IL Pharmacy and Soda Fountain, has been open since 1850.
For a 170 years sodas, sundaes, and sandwiches have been served to folks walking through these doors, until now. After 8 months of trying to make it work during Covid we have had to shut our doors. Many of you have experienced our friendly table service through the years and also have been to multiple seasonal dinner shows.
One of the shows that we have performed for nine years has been the “It’s A Wonderful Life Dinner Show.” However, this year due to the restrictions placed upon us and Covid, we are unable to continue with normal business practices. I’ve always wondered what it would be like to be in the position of George Bailey. George at no fault of his own was trying to remedy Uncle Billy’s misplacement of the eight thousand dollars.
We have always enjoyed putting our little twist to the theme of it’s a wonderful life. If you’re familiar with the movie there are so many great moments in the last scene. When Mary put out the word that George was in trouble. Prayers were offered up and people showed up to put a few dollars in the basket. What a great scene to the goodness of people.
All the funds raised through Gofundme will be used to continue Dr.Jazz and its mission to serve others to the best of our abilities. If you are able and willing to be a part of supporting Dr.Jazz through this most difficult time, we would greatly appreciate it!
Your patronage and friendship has meant everything to us!
