Dear Supporters,

I’m reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a sense of urgency. Dream House Lounge, a sanctuary for mental and spiritual wellness in our community, is facing a crisis that threatens its very existence.

For over a month now, Dream House has been unable to operate normally due to ongoing construction directly in front of our building. This construction has not only disrupted our ability to welcome patrons but has also caused a drastic dip in revenue, making it incredibly difficult to cover essential expenses like rent, inventory, and staff wages.

Dream House Lounge is more than just a business to me; it’s a labor of love and a vital resource for those seeking healing and support. Our lounge provides a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can explore somatic healing practices and address their mental health needs with the guidance of trained professionals.

However, the financial strain caused by the construction has pushed me to my limits. I’ve had to resort to personal loans and drain my savings just to keep the doors open. Despite these efforts, we’ve had to cut staff hours and struggle to afford the inventory necessary to maintain our services.

Without immediate intervention, the future of Dream House Lounge hangs in the balance. I fear that we may be forced to close our doors permanently, depriving our community of a much-needed resource for healing and growth. Here's what it currently looks like in front. We've encouraged customers to use the backdoor, but who wants to enter a business through the back door?

This is where you come in. I’m humbly asking for your support to help save Dream House Lounge from this crisis. Your contribution will go directly towards paying off the debts accumulated over the past month and ensuring that we can survive the coming weeks.

Additionally, your generosity will enable us to explore options for relocating to a temporary space, allowing us to continue serving our community while we navigate this challenging period.

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. By coming together as a community, we can ensure that Dream House Lounge continues to be a beacon of hope and healing for all who need it. Here's how I'm planning to use the funds:

Debt Repayment: A significant portion of the funds will be allocated towards paying off the debts accumulated over the past month. This includes personal loans and other financial obligations incurred in an attempt to keep the business operational during the construction disruption.

Essential Expenses: The remaining funds will be used to cover essential expenses necessary for the day-to-day functioning of Dream House Lounge. This includes rent payments, utilities, insurance, and any other overhead costs required to maintain the physical space.

Inventory Purchase: Another portion of the funds will be allocated towards purchasing inventory needed to run the business effectively. This may include supplies for somatic healing practices, wellness products, and other materials essential for providing quality services to patrons.

Staff Support: A portion of the funds will be used to support the dedicated staff members of Dream House Lounge. This may involve reinstating hours that were previously cut due to financial constraints, ensuring that employ ees can continue to earn a fair wage despite the challenges faced by the business.

Temporary Relocation: In the event that ongoing construction continues to disrupt operations at the current location, funds may be used to explore options for relocating to a temporary space. This will enable Dream House Lounge to continue serving the community while navigating the challenges posed by the construction.

Thank you for your consideration and support. Together, we can save Dream House Lounge and continue our mission of fostering mental and spiritual wellness in our community.

With gratitude,

David
