My mom, Donna, is in the fight of her life. After months of health struggles, she is now facing a myasthenia crisis caused by undiagnosed myasthenia gravis — a condition that, while difficult, is very treatable with the right care.

Right now, Donna needs additional plasmapheresis treatments, a tracheostomy, and long-term respiratory care to give her the chance to breathe on her own and start healing. Her pulmonologist has even told us to give up hope — but we will not. We know that with the right treatments, recovery is possible.

Unfortunately, insurance does not cover all of these critical expenses. As her daughter, I am doing everything I can while raising my kids as a single mom and trying to manage the household, but the medical costs are far beyond what I can handle alone.

Donna is so much more than a patient — she’s a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who means the world to everyone who knows her. She deserves the chance to fight, recover, and return to the life she loves.
