We are reaching out with heavy hearts to urgently ask for your help in preventing the eviction of Don Manuelito Ruiz, an 87‑year‑old father and grandfather who is facing homelessness in just a few days. Don Manuelito lives solely on his monthly Social Security income. At 87, and with a delicate heart condition, he is no longer able to work. His daughter, who is his only support system, recently lost her job due to illness and also lost her car during that difficult time. She has finally secured a new job and is scheduled to start on March 16, 2026, but unfortunately, this comes too late to stop the eviction process.
They are now two months behind on rent, and with late fees and court costs, the total amount due is more than they can manage. On Friday, March 13, 2026, they received the final eviction notice, meaning time is running out. This family is doing everything they can, but they simply cannot overcome this alone.
We are urgently asking our community, friends, and anyone with a compassionate heart to help us keep Don Manuelito safe in his home before it’s too late.
