My name is Julia and I’m working with a small but dedicated animal rescue in Uganda that focuses on saving abandoned, sick, and mistreated dogs. They’re doing incredible work with very limited resources, and unfortunately, they can’t set up a GoFundMe from Uganda — so they’ve asked me to help by creating this campaign.

This rescue takes in dogs found in terrible conditions — malnourished, injured, and full of parasites. The volunteers feed them, provide veterinary care, give them vaccines, deworm them, and do everything possible to give them a second chance at life.

But they need urgent help to keep going. Donations will go towards:

• Daily food for the dogs

• Vaccines and deworming treatments

• Veterinary care for serious cases

• Basic needs like shelter repairs, clean water, blankets, and medicine

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a big difference. And if you can’t donate, just sharing this campaign helps us reach more kind-hearted people.

Mi nombre es Julia y estoy colaborando con un pequeño pero valiente refugio de animales en Uganda que se dedica a rescatar perros abandonados, enfermos o maltratados. Ellos están haciendo una labor increíble con recursos muy limitados, y lamentablemente, en Uganda no pueden crear una cuenta de GoFundMe, por eso me han pedido ayuda para lanzar esta campaña.

Este refugio acoge a perros que han sido encontrados en condiciones extremas: desnutridos, heridos o llenos de parásitos. Los voluntarios los recogen, les dan comida, atención veterinaria, vacunas, los desparasitan y hacen todo lo posible por darles una segunda oportunidad.

Pero mantener este esfuerzo no es fácil. Necesitan ayuda urgente para cubrir los siguientes gastos:

• Comida diaria para los perros

• Vacunas y desparasitación

• Atención veterinaria para los casos más graves

• Reparaciones del refugio y necesidades básicas como mantas, agua limpia y medicinas
