Hello! I'm the Executive Director of Grammy Rose Dog Rescue & Sanctuary. Our mission at the rescue is to save dogs from euthanasia and then help them get adopted out to a loving family. As part of meeting this mission, there are several different costs involved with saving these dogs and then caring for them while they wait for their forever home.

We help rescue dogs from other states across the U.S. In doing so, we need to pay to have the dogs transported to us in Maine. Once the dogs are in our care, we then make sure they are kept up to date with vaccines and that they are seen for any medical needs that may arise. We also need to stay stocked up on plenty of food, treats, toys, and bedding for all the dogs. We currently can hold a maximum of 42 dogs amongst the 6 cabins we have on site, so you can only imagine how much dog food we may need each week!

In an effort to raise funds for the upcoming new year and then continue to do so throughout 2025, we are asking for any support people can give towards helping us meet our mission. We greatly appreciate any donations that help us take the best care of the dogs we have on site so we can all help them live their best lives!
