Recently, Dipika was diagnosed with blood cancer (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia)—a life-threatening illness that requires urgent and intensive treatment. Due to the lack of advanced medical facilities in Nepal, she was referred to Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in India, where she is currently admitted and undergoing treatment.

Her treatment involves multiple cycles of chemotherapy, which are not only physically exhausting but also financially overwhelming. So far, her family has already spent INR 444,000 with just 3 chemotherapy sessions, and the costs continue to rise each day. For a family from a rural background, this is an unimaginable burden.

It is heartbreaking that in a country like Nepal, where government support for serious illnesses is minimal, families are forced to struggle alone during such critical times.
