Help Save Delilah: Emergency Surgery Needed
Donation protected
Friends and family,
I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this, but I’m reaching out to you today with a plea that comes straight from my heart. My dog Delilah, my best friend and loyal companion for the past 8 years, needed emergency surgery today, and while I was able to pay some of the bill upfront, I simply cannot afford the cost on my own.
Delilah was taken to Eastern Maine Emergency Vet in Brewer, Maine on 7/29/2024. It was discovered that she had a massive splenic tumor that had ruptured causing internal bleeding. On top of the rupture, they discovered a lesion on her liver. The vet has done everything they can to save her, but she has a very long and lengthy recovery ahead of her. The cost of the bill has been astronomical thus far and so we’re asking for your help.
Delilah is more than just a pet to me. She has been my rock, my confidant, and my source of unconditional love. She’s been by my side through my darkest days and has shared in my happiest moments. The thought of losing her is unbearable. I feel helpless and terrified, but I have to try everything I can to save her.
If there’s anything you can contribute, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me and bring us closer to giving Delilah a fighting chance. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this message with others would be a tremendous help.
From the depths of my soul, thank you for reading this and for any support you can provide.
With all my love and gratitude,
Cheyenne Pino
