Our dad had a heart attack yesterday while abroad in the Dominican Republic. He was taken to Centro Cardio Vascular Dominicano General Hospital but there weren't any available beds for him. He was alone when the heart attack happened and had to get the attention of a neighbor for help. Luckily, he's still with us today and has been undergoing surgery.

The hospital bills are amounting to $12,000, which he certainly doesn't have anywhere near. The hospital is also not offering any payment plans or extra time - they're demanding that this bill is paid immediately, hence why we're starting this GoFundMe to try and collect as much money as possible from our family and friends.
