Our sweet Little Miss Daphne Snuggles was severely injured by our other pup, Scooby-Doo. We rushed her to emergency care where she has been for about 24 hours now.  While she suffered multiple puncture wounds, rib fractures and other injuries to her upper chest area, she is currently stable and it looks promising.
Daphne is only 3 months old. She’s so very sweet and she certainly lives up to the name that Archie gave to her seconds after meeting her; Snuggles.

We want to make it abundantly clear that Scooby-Doo is a fantastic dog. What happened was just a really awful moment that, frankly, is tearing our family apart. We don’t blame Scooby-Doo  for what happened and we are completely devastated.  Daphne and Scooby have been best buddies. I never in a million years would have thought it would go like this. 
In addition to the huge financial strain that we are anticipating this causing, we are just absolutely distraught by the fact that we have no choice but to surrender Scooby-Doo. We have to approach this with an abundance of caution for ourselves but most importantly for our 3 year old, Archie.
