I am appealing to you with a huge request - to help save the life of my nephew Dani. We need to raise $3,000,000 for urgent treatment of the terrible disease of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. A year ago, it was a sentence. There was simply no treatment, and the life expectancy of such children was limited to adolescence, the disease affects the muscles and gradually progresses from the legs, affecting the heart and diaphragm and ends fatally. Dani can no longer walk up the stairs on her own, get up from a chair, but there is still hope because the ability to walk has not been lost. Sarepta and leading scientists were able to invent a cure for this deadly disease. She is being treated at the MED CARE clinic in the United Arab Emirates.
