Help Dante Recover from BB Gun Wound

Dear God, there is so much cruelty out there in the world, yet we still have hope that there is some good out there.

My girlfriend’s cat Dante is the most cuddly and friendliest cat you could ever meet. Ever since picking him up from the shelter a couple of months ago, we both have fallen in love with him, and he has since become a member of her and my family. Today, however, while he was outside, some person shot him twice, leaving him to bleed. We do not know who it is or have any idea who it could’ve been, but this life-saving surgery could help us while also saving Dante’s life.

At the vet, the doctor explained how the BB bullet went through his side and ended up in his abdominal area. Due to this, he needs surgery to ensure that the bullet has not ruptured any of his intestines; yet it may likely be the case as he has blood in his feces. The cost of this was estimated around $6,000 which was way more than we have ever expected and as a college student with a shitty minimum wage job and even shittier hours I’m trying any way to come up with the money for my girlfriend’s kitty so we don’t have to say goodbye. I never thought I’d ever do this but I’m trying everything to save Dante. As much as I would love for justice to be served and find whoever has been shooting cats, Dante’s life comes first
