Dallas is our beloved seven-year-old cat, and he means the world to our family. He’s always been a gentle companion, especially to our 18-month-old son—Dallas was even his very first word. Recently, Dallas’s health took a sudden turn for the worse. As a diabetic, he’s been on medication, but it hasn’t fully worked. Suddenly, he went into diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and we had to rush him to the emergency room. He’s now hospitalized and fighting for his life, with a long road ahead.
The veterinarians are doing everything they can to stabilize Dallas. He’ll need intensive care, new medications, and once he’s out of the hospital, he’ll require ongoing insulin therapy. The costs for his hospital stay and treatment are overwhelming. We want to give Dallas every chance to recover and come home to the family who loves him so much.
We’re reaching out for help because Dallas is such an important part of our lives. Any support you can offer will go directly toward his emergency care and recovery. Thank you for anything you can do to help ease this burden. Your kindness means more to us than words can say.
