Help Save Daines Frenzy Amor Aserit – ICU Care

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Paul Comerford, and I am organising this fundraiser on behalf of my niece Daines Frenzy Amor Aserit and her family.

Amor is 26 years old and is currently in the ICU at French Hanoi Hospital in Vietnam. She is fighting severe pneumonia that progressed into septic shock and affected multiple organs. She remains on a ventilator under intensive care.

Before travelling, she was initially diagnosed in the Philippines with suspected tuberculosis and started on preventive medication. However, upon admission in Vietnam, doctors confirmed she does not have active tuberculosis. Instead, she is now battling severe pneumonia that led to septic shock.

Doctors attempted to drain fluid and pus from her lungs, but the procedure had to be stopped due to severe bleeding because her platelet count dropped dangerously low.

Although she remains in critical condition and on life support, doctors are now seeing signs that her body is responding to treatment. We are holding on to that hope.

As of the latest hospital statement, her bill has reached 458,834,310 VND (approximately ₱1,040,000 PHP) and continues to increase daily due to ICU care, ventilator support, medications, blood transfusions, and continuous monitoring.

Unfortunately, her travel insurance has declined coverage. The family is currently appealing this decision, but at present all medical expenses must be paid out-of-pocket.

A Message From Amor’s Sister, Shania

“My name is Shania Faye Diane Aserit-Ogaro, and I am Amor’s sister.

This is one of the hardest things we have ever had to write. Today, I am humbly asking for your continued prayers and help.

Our beloved Amor is fighting for her life. She only travelled to Vietnam for a short holiday — something she saved and planned responsibly. None of us ever imagined that a simple trip would turn into a life-threatening emergency.

While she is still in critical condition, we are thankful that doctors are seeing small signs that she is responding to medications.

We are doing everything we can as a family, but the financial burden is overwhelming.

We are asking for your prayers and any financial assistance, no matter how small. Every contribution will go directly toward her hospital expenses.

Please help us by sharing this page so it may reach more people.

She is fighting. And we are holding on to hope.”

Transparency on Fund Management

This fundraiser is being organised in the United Kingdom to allow international donations.

All funds raised will be:
• Withdrawn to my verified UK bank account (Paul Comerford)
• Transferred directly to MA. Jocelyn Yaput in the Philippines
• Used solely for Amor’s hospital and medical expenses

MA. Jocelyn Yaput is Amor’s aunt and is managing hospital payments on behalf of the family.

Medical documents and hospital billing statements are available and updates will continue to be shared for full transparency.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping save Amor’s life.

If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page.

Thank you for your prayers and support.
